Another nail biter !

I Started the day -12 and with a share of the lead with fellow Somerset West boy Justin Harding.
Thru 9 holes Justin was -14 I was -13. The back nine was then a yoyo, I birdied 10, eagled 12, and birdie 17 to sit at -16 on the 18th tee box.
Justin went, birdie 11, 13,15 & eagle 17 to sit at -17 on the 18th Tee box. While we were battling away Jake Roos finished eagle 17, birdie 18 to shoot 30 on his back nine and post -17 Unbelievable!
This now meant Justin was tied for the lead & I needed a birdie. I went for it & hit it to strong over the back & need to whole my chip shot. I took it on and it didn’t pay off – I was now out & 3rd place was mine. Justin went on to Just miss his put for victory & went into a playoff with Jake.
Jake made par in the playoff & won the Lombard Insurance Classic.
14th Vodacom Origins Classic - 2nd Sun City Challenge & now 3rd at the Lombard Insurance Classic. These were my finished in my last 3 events. Even though I have been knocking on the door, the chips just haven’t falling my way, but don’t worry they will in God’s timing!
