What’s new

August 25, 2010

  • I have been working out and practicing short game with good progress. I still have slight pain and limited mobility on my left side but the pain is not getting worse.
  • I am meeting with Tom Boers (my back Physical Therapist) tomorrow Aug 26 to evaluate my progress
  • Q -school is my main focus while I am in the USA and the signup deadline is September 15 this gives me 3 more weeks to make this decision.
  • I will update again next week when I have more information.

Withdrawn from Qualifier

Hi all, unfortunately today was a rough day for me. I have been having some problems with my back, and today it just got the best of me.

I was hitting balls on the range this mornning and i could feel this sharp pain in my back everytime i followed through. Nevertheless i went to the first tee and gave it a go. I managed to play 9holes, but after one armed swings and punch shots i knew i was doing more harm than good.

So i withdrew from the Tournament.

The rest of the day consisted of me visiting a physiotherapist and a Chiropracter & my diagnosis was that i have inflamed muscles & muscles spasms.

I will visit the Physio again on Thursday and untill then i have been ordered to lay low.

I will keep this situation updated, and i will pray that my back is ready to go for the Zimbabwe Open next week.

Thats all for now
