Alfred Dunhill Championship
As the year comes to an end so does the 2014 Sunshine Tour season…This week we battled the elements at Leopard Creek Golf course in the Alfred Dunhill Championship. Branden Grace came out victorious with a unbelievable 20 Under Par, where as I was way down the pack on +7 and in 63rd Spot.
I actually played nicely for the majority of the week, but unfortunately there were just to many errand shots. I made enough birdies to contend with 17 birdies, but 14 bogies & 5 double bogies just put an end to any momentum I had throughout the week.
Yeah I know there were a lot of ups and downs, sheesh but I’m glad its over and Im looking forward to a little break before the SA Open in January.
Compliments of the season to everyone & God bless
The one and only event I get to play in Cape Town is here!
We tee’d it up today and will be playing the rest of the week. Blustery winds today proved to be tricky and I was very happy with my -4 68 which placed me in 10th for today.
I’m teeing off at 8am tomorrow so if you’re in town come on out and watch. If you need tickets for tomorrow or the weekend let me know & i’ll sort you out!
Here are some pics from today

As the seasons switch, I flock south like birds in migration! It really is quite pleasant when I arrive home & every time I see someone, they always greet me with the phrase, “Man, you’re coming home just at the right time” That being said it is always sad saying my goodbyes on either side of the world. I have really enjoyed spending the last few weeks in Atlanta & I am really looking forward to getting back in the swing of things this week on the Sunshine Tour!
